WXPN 88.5 is the public radio music service of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and one of America's defining adult album alternative stations. It is the home of World Cafe, the nationally syndicated interview-and-performance programme hosted for decades by David Dye and now Raina Douris, and of the annual XPoNential Music Festival. Listener-supported and fiercely eclectic, WXPN champions singer-songwriters, indie rock and roots music alongside new discoveries.
