Blues 3 is the all-blues HD subchannel of WVPE 88.1 FM in Elkhart, Indiana, the NPR member station for the Michiana region. WVPE, owned by Elkhart Community Schools, has broadcast since May 1972 — its call letters stand for 'Voice of Progressive Education.' On HD3 the blues plays 24/7, with selections guided by longtime blues host Harv Stauffer and the channel managed together with students of the Elkhart Area Career Center.
