WMEX-LP (105.9 FM) is a low-power community station in Rochester, New Hampshire, launched in 2014 by Rochester Radio as a deliberate tribute to Boston's legendary WMEX 1510 AM. Its oldies format covers the 1950s through the 1980s, with local DJs, requests and full-service touches like local news and weather woven through the music. At just 27 watts it is hyper-local by design — Rochester's own jukebox, keeping the spirit of classic Top 40 radio alive on a neighbourhood scale.
