UbuntuFM is a Johannesburg-based online media organisation built around the ubuntu philosophy of contributing individually to the wellbeing of the whole community. What began as a blog in 2005 grew into internet radio in 2016, spawning channels devoted to African music, hip-hop and reggae alongside its world music stream. Its small international team collaborates across South Africa, Nigeria and the Netherlands to produce the service.
