Splash 106.7 FM is Abeokuta's outpost of West Midland Communications, sister station to Splash 105.5 in Ibadan. The parent station made history on 22 March 2007 as Ibadan's first private radio station, founded by Chief Adebayo Akande, and the Abeokuta service brought the same talk-driven formula — news, current affairs and community shows — to the Ogun State capital on 106.7, with Panorama among its flagship current-affairs programmes.
