SPIN South West is the regional youth station for Ireland's south-west, launched on 23 July 2007 and now part of Bauer Media Audio Ireland. Broadcasting from Limerick, it covers the city and county plus Kerry, Clare, North Tipperary and West Laois, targeting 15- to 34-year-olds with hit music, dance and entertainment shows. As the younger sibling of Dublin's SPIN 1038, it shares the brand's high-energy style while keeping a distinctly local accent — local presenters, news and competitions, and a big presence at regional festivals and student events.
