Psybient Sunset is a channel on MixLive, the Irish online radio platform, devoted to psybient — the downtempo meeting point of psychedelic trance and ambient music. As the sun goes down, so does the tempo: expect long, spacious tracks in the mould of Shpongle or Carbon Based Lifeforms, blending ethnic instruments, deep bass and drifting electronics. It is a headphones-on listening experience aimed at chill-out rooms, late-night study sessions and anyone who likes their electronic music slow, warm and immersive rather than built for the dancefloor.
