Soma Bossa Nova is SomaFM's channel for the gentle rhythms of Brazil. From the listener-supported San Francisco network Rusty Hodge founded in 2000, this stream pours out classic bossa nova — soft Portuguese vocals, nylon-string guitar and that unmistakable swaying beat — alongside related Brazilian jazz. It is one of SomaFM's most mellow addresses, made for slow mornings, cafés and quiet evenings.
