Shady Pines Radio is Portland, Oregon's homegrown online community station, launched in April 2020 by Callie and Brian Bauer of Shady Pines Media to keep local creatives connected during lockdown. Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with around a hundred volunteer DJs, it broadcasts eclectic, presenter-led shows spotlighting under-the-radar and local music alongside comedy, interviews, poetry and experimental sound, true to the unpredictable spirit of community radio.
