Positively Morrinsville is a volunteer-run, non-profit low-power station on 87.7 FM serving Morrinsville, the dairy town at the foot of the Kaimai Ranges in Waikato. True to its name, it keeps the tone upbeat and local: a broad mix of music, community notices and local news, plus syndicated curiosities such as the American kids-and-comedy programme The Goober Hour. It is small-scale community radio in the classic mould — made by locals, for locals, in a farming town that punches above its weight.
