More FM Nelson, on 92.8 FM, is MediaWorks’ local station for Nelson and the Tasman District, also reaching Motueka and Tākaka on 92.0 and Murchison on 94.1. It began life as the much-loved Fifeshire FM — first a summer station in January 1983, then a permanent FM station from 28 January 1988 — before rebranding to More FM in December 2004. Still based in historic Fifeshire House, it mixes the network’s adult contemporary music with local shows, news and community coverage for the top of the South.
