KALX 90.7 is the freeform voice of UC Berkeley, run by students and community volunteers for over half a century. Broadcasting from the Berkeley campus across the East Bay, it is famously eclectic: a single hour might jump from indie rock to vintage soul, spoken word or a live Cal sports broadcast. KALX remains proudly uncommercial, unpredictable and deeply local.
