Peterborough’s 101.5 The Wolf (CKWF-FM) is Corus Entertainment’s active rock station for Peterborough and the Kawarthas, a role it has held since rebranding on February 14, 1992. The frequency’s roots run much deeper: it first went on the air in 1947 as CHEX-FM and later broadcast as CFMP-FM before the Wolf name arrived. It broadcasts alongside sister station Global Peterborough (CHEX-DT) and has long ranked among Central Ontario’s most-listened-to rock stations.
