From San Nicolas, the island's carnival capital, Massive Aruba has championed soca and calypso since its launch in 2017. The English-language station was created because local audiences otherwise heard soca mainly at carnival time or at parties. Its schedule moves from early-morning gospel and R&B into news updates and soca through the rest of the day.
