ABC NewsRadio is the ABC’s rolling news network, broadcasting continuous national and international news, sport, finance and weather across Australia. It began life relaying federal Parliament — and still carries Question Time and parliamentary sittings live — before evolving into a full news service in the 1990s. Overnight it relays BBC World Service programming, keeping the news cycle running 24 hours a day.
