93.5 Eagle Radio bills itself as “The True Alternative”, an alternative rock station for listeners who find mainstream rock playlists too safe. On 93.5 FM and online, it digs into alternative and indie rock — from grunge, Britpop and post-punk foundations to modern guitar bands — favouring deeper cuts and less obvious singles. The positioning is the point: where classic rock stations repeat the canon, Eagle’s alternative format promises discovery and attitude for its audience of committed rock fans.
