Sub FM is the student radio station of Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology in Tauranga, broadcasting on low-power FM at 88.3 in the city centre and 107.7 from the Windermere campus. Run by students as a hands-on training ground for broadcasting, the station gives new presenters real airtime to develop their voice, production skills and music programming. The sound is youthful and contemporary, reflecting the tastes of the student body it serves — a small but genuine community voice in the Bay of Plenty's crowded radio market.
