WWWL is how the stream names it, but on air this is Wadsworth Community Radio — WWWR-LP at 97.1 FM in Wadsworth, Ohio. Retired professors Joe and Susan Arpad founded the nonprofit station, which began streaming in 2014 and reached FM in 2015. Programming is resolutely local: city news, high-school Grizzlies sports, local businesses and music, much of it presented by volunteers — a small-town station built to cover what regional media no longer does.
