WCMC-FM, "99.9 The Fan," is the Raleigh–Durham Triangle's sports station, owned by Capitol Broadcasting Company. It flipped to sports on October 10, 2007 as the market's first all-sports FM, and it is the flagship radio home of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes, an ESPN Radio affiliate, and the base for local voices like The Adam Gold Show. In the Triangle, this is where the sports argument never stops.
