The Bluegrass Jamboree has flown the flag for acoustic mountain music online since September 2013, when Annette Grady launched it from Goldsboro, North Carolina. Grady had co-hosted her grandfather Chester Thompson's bluegrass program from 2007 and carried it on after his death in 2009. Broadcasting 24/7, the station mixes bluegrass, bluegrass gospel and traditional country, with live DJs and syndicated shows keeping the music rooted in Appalachian tradition.
