Christmas Lounge is SomaFM's seasonal holiday channel, serving chilled holiday grooves and classic winter lounge tracks that are, as the station promises, kid and parent safe. SomaFM is the long-running San Francisco internet broadcaster launched by Rusty Hodge in February 2000, entirely listener-supported and commercial-free. This channel is its mellow take on Christmas: festive standards and lounge arrangements slowed down into a relaxed, fireside background rather than a novelty singalong.
