Global's seasonal festive spin-off from Smooth Radio, Smooth Christmas appears in the run-up to Christmas playing wall-to-wall festive songs — from Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole standards to Wham! and Mariah Carey. It belongs to the Smooth family, Global's mellow music brand relaunched nationally in 2014, and is carried on digital radio and the Global Player app as a temporary soundtrack to the holiday season.
