This is the Irish channel of Folk Alley, the folk-music service that began in 2003 as an online project of WKSU in Ohio and now champions roots music worldwide. Here the focus narrows to Ireland: traditional reels and jigs, Celtic harps, ballads and contemporary Irish folk singers. Fiddles, flutes and uilleann pipes carry a session-like warmth from pub corners to concert halls.
