ZIP 103 FM burst onto the air on 9 June 2002 and quickly became Jamaica’s high-energy urban station. Also part of Grove Broadcasting, it reaches about 98 per cent of the island on 103.1 to 103.9 FM with hip hop, pop, soca, reggae, dancehall and EDM. ZIP pioneered the 90-second hourly Info Cast, keeping its party format moving with quick news, sports and entertainment updates.
