Z99 has been a fixture of Cayman radio since 23 May 1992, when it began broadcasting as ZFZZ and became the Cayman Islands' first commercial radio station. Owned by Compass Media, it airs a contemporary hit radio format on 99.9 FM from Grand Cayman, reaching Cayman Brac and Little Cayman as well. A popular breakfast show anchors its schedule of the latest pop hits.
