Yetu Community Radio is the community station of Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa District, broadcasting on 107.6 FM. Yetu means “ours” in Swahili, and the station is staffed by refugees and Malawians together, with programmes in Chichewa, English, French, Swahili and Kinyarwanda. Supported by UNHCR and supervised by Plan International Malawi, its signal was upgraded in 2020 to reach across a 100-kilometre radius as far as Lilongwe, carrying news, health, child protection, livelihoods and sports programming.
