Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio was founded in August 2003 by pianist and composer David Nevue, who started it to promote his own music and is credited with creating the first internet broadcast devoted exclusively to solo piano. The station has grown to feature more than 400 piano artists, from David Lanz and Peter Kater to Nevue himself. Its quiet, melodic programming runs commercial-free for subscribers and has become a standard background for work, study and rest.
