Broadcasting from Madrelle in Loubiere, Voice of Life is Dominica's long-running Christian radio ministry, known across the Eastern Caribbean by its ZGBC call sign. The station first reached the air in 1976 on 1060 AM under the name Voice of Hope, founded after missionaries Bob Post and Wayne Nauman arrived from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1974 in search of a site for a Christian station. Renamed Voice of Life, it later moved to 740 AM before that signal was switched off in 2004, and today it is heard on FM relays including 102.1 in Roseau, 90.7 in Portsmouth and 106.1 in Marigot. Its schedule mixes gospel music and Bible teaching such as In Touch with Dr Charles Stanley with a community Bulletin Board for church and public notices, plus an overnight relay of the Moody Broadcasting Network.
