Virgin Radio Oman took to the air in 2018 on 100.9 FM, operated by SABCO Media as the Sultanate's local edition of the international Virgin Radio brand. Broadcasting in English, it is the only station in Oman built around hip-hop and R&B, mixing those sounds with Afrobeats and global hits. Big on-air competitions and high audience participation have made it a favourite with younger listeners in Muscat and beyond.
