Ambient is the quiet channel of Traxx FM, Geneva's internet radio family dedicated entirely to music. In keeping with the house rule – every track is auditioned by a real person before broadcast, and there is no advertising – Ambient drifts through downtempo electronica, chill-out and atmospheric soundscapes at an unhurried pace. It is the counterweight to Traxx FM's club-oriented channels such as Tech Minimal and Deep: same Geneva studio, same commercial-free philosophy, but built for concentration, relaxation and late-night listening rather than the dancefloor.
