TodayFM 80s is the decade channel of Today FM, Bauer Media Audio Ireland's national station, streaming non-stop 1980s hits via the GoLoud platform and app. It distils the parent station's love of big choruses into a single era: synth-pop, rock anthems and chart classics from the eighties, back to back. The main Today FM service began life as Radio Ireland on 17 March 1997 before rebranding on 1 January 1998, and has been part of Bauer since its 2021 acquisition of Communicorp.
