This stream carries Today FM, Bauer Media's national music and entertainment station. The station began life on St Patrick's Day 1997 as Radio Ireland, the country's first national commercial pop station, and was rebranded as Today FM within a year. Its formula mixes current hits with personality-driven speech: a long-running breakfast show, music-led daytime programmes, and The Last Word with Matt Cooper for early-evening news, interviews and debate. Broadcasting nationwide on FM and online, it is a daily fixture for listeners in every corner of Ireland.
