This stream is Today FM's dedicated home for the music of the 1980s, part of the national station's family of digital decade channels available online and via the GoLoud app. Every track comes from the eighties: chart pop, new wave, rock anthems and one-hit wonders, sequenced as a non-stop celebration of the decade. Parent station Today FM has been a fixture of Irish radio since 1997, broadcasting nationwide on 100–102 FM and owned by Bauer Media Audio Ireland. Its 80s stream is aimed at the generation that taped songs off the radio the first time around — and everyone who wishes they had.
