Third Rock Radio is quite literally America's space station: NASA's official internet radio channel, launched in December 2011 and produced with Houston's RFC Media under a Space Act Agreement. The format is new rock, indie and alternative, woven with NASA mission updates and science features aimed at inspiring the next generation of engineers. Astronaut Joe Acaba even DJed a show from aboard the International Space Station.
