The Wireless is a country music station serving Mangawhai and the surrounding Northland coast, broadcasting on 90.4 FM. Billing its format as today's best country, it plays contemporary country hits and favourites for a rural and small-town audience in one of New Zealand's fastest-growing coastal districts. As a local independent service rather than part of the big national networks, it keeps a community focus alongside the music, giving Mangawhai listeners a station that sounds like home instead of a relay from Auckland, and streaming online for country fans further afield.
