The Implosion is the heaviest channel of TheBlast.fm, the Christian hard-music network — where the main Blast feed goes loud, the Implosion goes extreme. Its playlist, tracked as far afield as Sioux Falls, is wall-to-wall Christian metal: metalcore, hardcore and deathcore from bands in the orbit of Demon Hunter, Impending Doom and War of Ages, broken up by short "Blasting Out the Word" scripture readings. It is faith-driven music at maximum aggression, streaming for listeners who find mainstream Christian radio far too quiet.
