Star FM 101.9 has a comeback story behind the music: the station first went on air in 1998 in Soubise, St. Andrew, but was destroyed when Hurricane Ivan struck Grenada in 2004. Rebuilt and licensed fourteen years later under its current name, it now fills 101.9 FM with reggae, soul, classics, R&B, pop rock, hard rock, oldies and calypso, living up to its promise of bringing more music to people's lives.
