Broadcasting from the St. Ita's Hospital campus in the seaside village of Portrane, this volunteer-run hospital radio service was one of Ireland's longest-running stations. It first took to the air in December 1983, survived the 1989 pirate shutdown thanks to a special ministerial dispensation, and broadcast for years on low-power FM to Portrane and the surrounding area as well as online. A founding member of the Irish Hospital Radio Network, it provided music, entertainment and companionship to residents and staff until the service ended in November 2024.
