Spoon Radio's Alternative Rock channel is where the Swiss online rock station turns away from the mainstream. Under its «Real Rock Radio» banner, Spoon Radio – a commercial-free web station from Switzerland at spoonradio.com – runs this stream for indie and alternative sounds: grunge and post-punk foundations, Britpop, and the guitar bands of today alongside alternative classics from R.E.M. to Radiohead and The Killers. The channel streams continuously with minimal interruption, aimed at rock fans who find classic rock rotations too safe. Alternative Rock is one of several themed streams through which Spoon serves its international audience.
