Sovietwave is an internet stream devoted to the genre of the same name: synthwave built from the aesthetics of the late USSR. Analogue synthesizers, space-age optimism, echoes of Soviet film melodies and cosmic romance define the sound. The station plays this nostalgic electronic music online around the clock, for listeners fascinated by a retro future that never happened.
