Underground 80s digs below the surface of the decade. A SomaFM channel since 2008 — it began life as 'Nu Musik' — it favors early-1980s British synthpop, new wave and post-punk rarities over the era's stadium hits. SomaFM itself has broadcast from San Francisco since February 2000, founded by Rusty Hodge as a listener-supported, commercial-free alternative to corporate radio, and this channel is its love letter to the import bins.
