The Trip is the trance channel of SomaFM, the San Francisco internet radio service founded by Rusty Hodge in 2000 and run as commercial-free, listener-supported radio. Added in 2004 and formerly known as Tag's Trip, the channel specialises in classic and progressive trance: long, melodic, hands-in-the-air tracks from the genre's golden years rather than today's harder EDM, mixed continuously for listeners who like their electronic music euphoric and unhurried.
