Heavyweight Reggae is SomaFM's home for Jamaican sounds, from the listener-supported San Francisco network founded in 2000. The channel stacks roots reggae, dub and dancehall-leaning selections into a deep, bass-forward rotation, favouring the heavyweight end of the genre its name promises. Like sister SomaFM channels it is human-curated and commercial-free; this listing carries the 128k MP3 stream for listeners who like their reggae with weight and history.
