Groove Salad Classic is SomaFM's archive edition of its famous chillout channel: where the main Groove Salad keeps adding new downtempo releases, this version sticks to the classic ambient and downtempo tracks that built the format in the 2000s. It streams in MP3 from the San Francisco network Rusty Hodge founded in 2000, still commercial-free and listener-supported. For longtime web radio listeners it is pure nostalgia — the original internet chillout sound, preserved.
