Groove Salad is the channel that made SomaFM. Launched as the network's second station, it remains its most listened-to: 'a nicely chilled plate of ambient/downtempo beats and grooves' — slow electronica, ambient textures and downtempo rhythms for working, coding or drifting off. SomaFM has streamed from San Francisco since February 2000, founded by Rusty Hodge, and stays listener-supported and commercial-free; this 256k stream is Groove Salad at full fidelity.
