Dub Step Beyond is SomaFM's home for heavy bass music. From SomaFM — the San Francisco listener-supported network Rusty Hodge founded in 2000 — this 256k MP3 channel pushes dubstep and its neighboring styles: wobble bass, brostep edges and deeper, darker electronic cuts. It is one of the network's highest-energy offerings, a sharp contrast to its ambient channels, and it runs commercial-free around the clock.
