Drone Zone is one of SomaFM's signature ambient channels. SomaFM, the San Francisco listener-supported internet radio service founded in 2000 by Rusty Hodge, built its reputation on hand-curated, commercial-free channels like this one — here at a lighter 64k AAC stream. The sound is deep space drone: long, slow-moving ambient textures with no beats and no voices, designed for drifting, focusing or sleeping.
