Named for the legendary Northern California downtempo campout, Chillits brings that gathering's blissed-out spirit to a SomaFM channel. Expect slow, spacious chillout and ambient-leaning sets — music for hammocks, sunsets and the small hours. SomaFM, founded in San Francisco in 2000 by Rusty Hodge, remains commercial-free and listener-supported, and this channel is among its most laid-back offerings: no beats with anywhere to be, just a gentle drift.
