Solid Soul Grooves Radio, identified with Stourbridge in the West Midlands, is an online station playing soul, funk and groove-based music. Its name points to classic soul and rare groove, the styles that grew from American soul and funk of the 1960s and 1970s and remain popular on Britain's soul scene. Streaming via the internet in MP3, it serves specialist listeners rather than a general local broadcast audience.
