SmoothJazz.com Global Radio helped invent internet radio. Radio personality Sandy Shore bought the domain in 1995 and launched the station with co-founder Donna K. Phillips; by 2000 it was broadcasting worldwide from California's Monterey Bay area, billing itself as the first woman-owned and operated internet radio station. Its blend fuses contemporary jazz with soul, pop and global beats. This is the full-quality 128k MP3 stream of that pioneering service.
